His clients have cut across multiple issue areas, including insurance, tax, transportation, technology, health care, financial services, and real estate. Mr. Jones has developed effective strategies for trade associations, Fortune 500 corporations, nonprofit associations, and small companies.

Prior to joining Capitol Counsel, Mr. Jones served on the political staff of numerous senior members of the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives. For that work, he was named a “Rising Star in American Politics” by Campaigns & Elections magazine and recognized as one of the nation’s top political fundraisers. He has served on the finance committees of numerous presidential and gubernatorial campaigns and been quoted on federal politics by national media outlets, including PBS NewsHour, The Wall Street Journal, USA Today, US News & World Report, Roll Call, The Hill, and Politico.

He currently serves on the board of directors of the Association for the Preservation of Historic Congressional Cemetery on Capitol Hill. In 2014, he was awarded the Volunteer of the Year Award for his preservation work at Historic Congressional Cemetery.

Mr. Jones lives in Washington, D.C., and was raised in Chatham, New Jersey. He received a B.A. in political science from Kutztown University of Pennsylvania. He is a political junkie, an avid Washington

Nationals fan, an Eagle Scout, and a dog lover, and he enjoys scuba diving, travel, and history. He is currently planning a trip to Normandy for the 75th Anniversary of D-Day.
