Head into downtown Cleveland, where we will discover the stunning array of architectural, historical, and cultural gems Cleveland offers. Your guide will be taking you on a walking tour of downtown Cleveland—from the Terminal Tower (the tallest skyscraper in the world outside New York City until 1967) to getting your picture under the world’s largest permanent outdoor chandelier. The Reinberger Rotunda in the Allen Theatre is a near-exact replica of the inside of the Villa Madama, a Renaissance-era rural home in Italy. The tour will include the Public Square, the Tower City/Terminal Tower area, the Old Stone Church, the Soldiers’ and Sailors’ Monument (private guided tour), the Society for Savings Building, the Fountain of Eternal Life, and so much more. We will end the tour with afternoon refreshments under an 85-foot-high rotunda topped with tiffany style stained glass dome in the Cleveland Trust Rotunda Building, now home to Heinen’s.
