You’ll travel from the birthplace of the city, along the banks of Cherry Creek to the home of the Denver Broncos, through Civic Center Park, past the U.S. Mint and Colorado State Capitol, continuing to the Denver Art Museum into Lower Downtown, until you finally reach the South Platte River Valley. At the site of Denver’s founding, you will explore Larimer Square “then and now,” learning about the first bustling city center, which at one point turned into skid row. Local citizens saved the block of buildings from demolition, and it became Denver’s first historic district. Larimer Square is now home to some of Denver’s most famous restaurants, bars, coffee shops, and boutiques.

Microbrew Tour

Beer lovers rejoice! Denver has been dubbed the Napa Valley of beer and is home to some of the most delicious small-batch beer in the world. On this guided walking tour through historic Lodo (Lower Downtown), you’ll visit four breweries and sample 10 local craft beers. You’ll also enjoy learning the history of Denver as you walk.
